The holiday season has kept me busy, with little time to work on my art. However, my mind is still contemplating ideas to try when I get the time. One fabulous outlet for me has been (and I'm sure always will be) the children's section at my local library! I will try to remember to write down the names of all the illustrators I like. I'm starting out with Evelyn Daviddi, an Italian artist. I didn't find much about her, but her work is so creative. I first saw her art in the children's book,
I Love Chocolate. I, myself,
like chocolate, but
love her color palettes and the texturing she uses. The composition of her artwork makes for interesting points of view. Cute stuff!
